As the IHRA continues to grow and expand its audience, the legendary sanctioning body has unveiled a brand new media site aimed at assisting the media in covering IHRA events in 2009 and beyond.
The site, which can be viewed at http://media.ihra.com, will be a one stop shop for all media needs including high-resolution photos and graphics, full statistics covering the history of the IHRA, press releases, story ideas, credential request forms and much more.
“With the growth and expansion we have seen recently, we felt it was essential to create a site that will help make the jobs of the media a little easier,” said IHRA Director of Media and Publicity Larry Crum. “As someone who spent several years working in newspaper, I know how hard it can be tracking down information for a story. With the new IHRA media site, members of the media will no longer have that problem.”
Along with a detailed look at the history of the IHRA and its classes, the IHRA media site will also have complete standings and statistics covering the history of the sanctioning body.
Logos, high resolution photos, credential request forms, style guides, event calenders and complete details on all the going-ons of the series will also be available simply by visiting the site.
“I encourage members of the media to check out the site and use it to their advantage,” Crum said. “And as the season moves forward, check back for constant updates including full race results from all of our national events including stats, photos and digital interviews from all of the race winners.” |
