Media Credential
Process:
All credential requests for IHRA Drag Racing Series events must be submitted to the IHRA Media & Publicity Director Larry Crum.
Office: 419-660-4213
Cell: 304-812-0104
Note: The results of these forms will be sent to Larry Crum's E-Mail address for review.
Requests must be submitted NO LATER than TWO weeks prior to the
start of the event, and must include company letterhead,
typed, and signed by the editorial director.
This may be faxed to 419-663-4472 or attached to our digital form (see link below).
All
requests must include an outline of proposed coverage, as well as
the names and duties of all individuals for whom credentials are
being requested. Please provide a phone number, fax number, and
address as well.
Credentials
will only be issued to qualified and recognized media organizations
as determined by IHRA.
First
time applicants must mail their request and include examples of
prior motorsports coverage. After attending the event, proof of
coverage/tear sheets must be sent to Larry Crum. Failure to
do so will result in loss of future event privileges.
All
requests for media credentials will be acknowledged by IHRA prior
to the event. All credentials are issued at the track and must be
signed for by the individual for whom the credential is issued.
Photo Identification is required.
Credentials
must be worn in plain view at all times, while in restricted areas.
Failure to cooperate with IHRA officials will result in removal
from the grounds.
Coverage
of IHRA Drag Racing is appreciated
and we welcome all legitimate members of the media. However, application
for credentials does not guarantee approval.
Photographers
IHRA has an official photographer to provide and sell photos to
the racers. IHRA issues photo passes for race and media coverage
only. Any photographer selling photographs at or of an IHRA event
will have their credentials permanently revoked.
