Media & Photo Guidelines

To The Media...

Welcome to the brand new IHRA Media Site and another exciting year of IHRA Drag Racing. As the popularity of our series continues to grow, so do the challenges associated with making our racing series more accessible and media friendly. Our growth into one of the premier racing sanctioning bodies in the world would not have been possible without the strong support of our print, video, audio and electronic media partners. We value each and every person, publication and media outlet that works with us to elevate our series. We look forward to your continued support of the IHRA.

I will be your point of contact for information about IHRA drag racing. I look forward to working with you to fulfill your needs as we work to increase the exposure and promotion of our sport. If you have any specific needs regarding event coverage, statistics, photography needs, etc. I am available in the press room at each Nitro Jam national event. You can also reach me via email, my direct line or my cell phone.

Round-by-round postings, news releases, pit notes and point standings will be available in the media room at all national events. Professional class winners will also be made available after every national event in the media room to meet with assembled media representatives. Also, if you have any specific interview needs please contact me as early as possible so I can work to satisfy your request. The IHRA Media Relations Department is equipped to assit you with additional requests for information and/or materials. We encourage suggestions and comments on how to improve our service to the media.

I look forward to working with you this season.

Best Regards,
Larry Crum
